Bryndís & Hany verða með helgarnámskeið
föstudaginn 25. maí og laugardaginn 26. maí n. k.

Dagskrá og Verðskrá:

Föstudagur 25. 05.

21.00 – 22.30: Opinn tími á undan El Cramo.

Viðfangsefni:
Smooth and Elegant Waltz
(Level 1-3 / interm-adv).
Hefurðu nokkurn tímann horft bergnumin(n) á fallegan tango-vals?  Kannski hefurðu hrifist af rómantískum og flæðandi valsi.  Í þessum opna tíma munum við varpa ljósi á hinn hæga og flæðandi vals.  Við munum kenna aðferðir og æfingar sem hjálpa okkur að nálgast það markmið að gera valsinn þokkafullan, flæðandi og áreynslulausan.
Á eftir opna tímanum (frá 22:30 til 00:30) verður
hefðbundin milonga El Cramo.

Kennsla í sal Tin Can Factory eða Dósaverksmiðjunni í Borgartúni 1.

Kl 13:00-14:30

Vals og milonga
Level: Byrjendur-“plús” ( . . . hafa lokið byrjendanámskeiði).

Tango, vals og milonga.  Hver er munurinn á þessu þrennu þegar við dönsum?

Kl 14:45-16:15

Nice, soft and social Boleos.
Level: inter/adv

Á þessu námskeiði förum við djúpt í grunninn, hvernig við leiðum og útfærum aftur og fram boleos. Einnig hvernig við gerum boleos á fjölmennu dansgólfi.

Kl 16:30-18:00

“Swivles”
Level: inter/adv.

Mjúkt stopp og skipt um átt á milli skrefa, byrjar sem snúningur á báðum fótum. Á þessu námskeiði verður unnið með dæmi þar sem herra snýr dömunni á báðum fótum og fer í kring um hana. Vinnum einnig með opið fram ocho út frá sömu hugmynd.

Friday May 25th

21.00-22.30:  Open class before the El Cramo-milonga.

Subject of the open class: Smooth and Elegant Waltz
(Level 1-3 / interm-adv).
Have you ever dreamed yourself away watching a couple dancing waltz? Maybe you get touched by the romantic and flowing waltz. In this workshop we will shed light on that particular side of the dance, slow and romantic waltz. You will learn tools and make exercises to increase the flow, effortlessness and elegance.
Venue: Kramhúsið, Skólavörðustígur 12 (off Bergstaðastræti).
After the open class (from 22:30 to 00:30)
there will be a milonga El Cramo

Laugardagur 26. 05.
Venue: Tin Can Factory or Dósaverksmiðjan at Borgartún 1.

13:00-14:30

Waltz and milonga
Level: Beginners-“plus”
( . . . for those who have finished a beginner´s class).
Tango, waltz and milonga.  How are they different?
How do we dance?

14:45-16:15

Nice, soft and social Boleos.
Level: inter/adv

In this workshop we go deep into basics, how do we lead and perform back and forward boleos.  We also work on how to do boleos on a crowded dance floor.

16:30-18:00

“Swivles”
Level: inter/adv.

Stopping softly and changing directions between steps starting with a pivot on both feet.  In this workshop we will work with examples where the leader turns the follower on both feet and goes around him.   We will also use the same idea to work on the front ocho.
