About Bryndís and Hany.

Bryndís (Iceland) and Hany (Austria) consider themselves classical tango dancers, with a strong physical and emotional connection in their dance. For them clarity in movement and musicality is essential as well as elegance, dynamic and a hint of humor.

Bryndis and Hany have both background in ballet and modern dance. Later tango came into their lives and they have taught tango for many years in Iceland, where they founded the Icelandic Tango Association in the year of 2000. They moved to Denmark in 2011, where they work as professional tango dancers and teachers at their own school, M2tango Studio, in Copenhagen. Hany and Bryndís travel frequently to other countries to give workshops and shows.

In their classes they work with the basics, repertoire, posture and connection, flow of the movement, musicality and of course the joy of dancing. Finding the possibilities within the capacity of the students is very important to them. Another motto they believe in is: Tango is challenging enough, let’s laugh a bit and have fun.
